HAPPI is our on-site restaurant, the only vegetarian restaurant in the Inhambane area. MERI is our sustainable seafood restaurant, where you can eat carefully chosen seafood with good conscious. SILLI is our fully licensed beach bar serving cold beer and cocktails.

Here at Liquid we strongly believe in green philosophy and the idea that everyone can have an impact on the world by being more sustainable. Our aim is to develop a resort that not only supports sustainability but also implements our own goals in order to create a more environmentally friendly future.

Having a vegetarian restaurant is extremely important to us as it reflects our attitude towards the environment, and particularly our oceans. HAPPI serves a fresh, seasonal menu with international flavours and influences.

MERI restaurant was born from the clients demand. Many people wanted to eat seafood, but make sustainable choices.

Our restaurants receive their ingredients from our own farm and local artisanal fisherman. By doing this we are able to create a restaurant that avoids problematic fishing practices such as industrial-scale fishing, long lining, netting, and unwanted bycatch. We have also decided to not serve certain seafood such as prawns, reef fish or octopus. This is due to ethical reasons, destruction of reefs and the huge amount of bycatch that is caused. This is how we as Liquid will work towards creating a healthier and more environmentally conscious future.

At Liquid we strive to achieve small changes that have big impacts, such as not using single use plastics like straws, cups, or bags; but instead placing free water dispensers around the property for everyone. Along with water dispensers, we only use recycled cups and bottles.
